McCafferty Financial Recruitment was established in
1997 by Neil McCafferty, who draws on ten years of experience as a career
merchant banker in the corporate banking, structured finance and derivatives
markets of South Africa. At the beginning of 2008, a ten percent
stake in the company was acquired by two black South African women. A further five percent is owned by women.
The company was re-launched as Ubuntu Human Resources to more fully
describe our newly empowered status and focus in the field of executive
search and selection.
Ubuntu Human Resources draws on its wealth of previous
experience within the financial and information technology sectors,
and an established network that operates in accordance with a code of
integrity and confidentiality. Ubuntu Human Resources has developed
a reputation that is built upon the twin foundations of focused professional
service and ethical practice. Extensive industry experience, coupled
with innovative networking capabilities enable Ubuntu Human Resources
to provide a knowledge based service.
AN INNOVATOR IN THE FIELD
OF EXECUTIVE SEARCH & SELECTION
Ubuntu Human Resources offers a service that is tailored
to the unique needs and particular situation of each client. Candidates
are pre-selected through individual personal meetings that are structured
around basic criteria. These criteria are determined by the specific
requirements of each assignment.
A commitment to finding the most suitable candidate
for the appointment, has led to Ubuntu Human Resources' establishment
of a broad data-base of over forty thousand individuals that range from
newly qualified, first-time job seekers to highly qualified and experienced
personnel in key positions. In the latter case candidates are discreetly
approached, the parties are brought together, with Ubuntu Human Resources
acting as a facilitator and mediator. Candidates who meet the specific
requirements of an assignment are introduced to the client.
A unique approach that centres on the formation of
a collaborative recruitment partnership with clients, enables Ubuntu
Human Resources to promote a two-way relationship based on communication
and mutual trust. This ensures that Ubuntu Human Resources is effective
in identifying the most suitable candidates for a client's assignment.
To ensure that the rights of clients and candidates
are protected, Ubuntu Human Resources operates within the framework
of Labour Law legislation, keeping itself up to date with any developments
in this area. Ubuntu Human Resources protects the privacy of clients
and candidates by handling all assignments with discretion and sensitivity.
